A few days before Christmas, Michele's doctors discovered she has advanced colon cancer, and advised immediate surgery, which is currently scheduled for January 9, 2008, with a total hospital stay of 4 to 6 days for initial recovery. The operation will take place at Kaiser in San Rafael, CA, and Michele will return home afterwards for further recuperation. We will post more information about workshops and health updates as we have them.
